Typical linked townhouse, situated in Castigaleu, province of Aragón on the border with Catalonia. This pleasant and comfortable, nature stone house is fully renovated. Although its a townhouse, it has a small garden. Castilageu lies 82 km from Lleida and 120 km from Huesca. The surrounding is excellent for trekking: advisable are the historic route GR-1 and route of Ribagorza GR-18. Other places of interest and activities are: the church with watchtower in Luzßs (5 km.), cathedral in Roda de Isßbena (24 km.), cloister of Santa María de Obarra (36 km.), Buddhist temple in Panillo (40 km.) and the basilica De la Peña and Graus (24 km.). Mountains: Sierra de Sis within 20 km. (1.800 m. height), Turbón within 35 km. (2.492 m. height), Cotiella within 53 km. (2.912 m. height). National parks: Sierra de Montsec (30 km.) and Aigües-Tortes (80 km.). The lake of Joaquín Costa/Barasona lies within 24 km. Shortly; this is a lovely house in the inlands for those who love hikes, mountains and nature.

L'accueil à notre arrivée était très sympathique. Les habitants du village (+/- 100 habitants) aussi. La mère de la propriétaire est venue nous apporter des légumes de son potager. La maison était très jolie et bien équipée. Il y avait beaucoup de documentation sur les promenades à faire et sur les sites à visiter. Le jardin et la terrasse étaient très agréables. Village très calme. Le seul bémol est que c'est un petit peu loin (+/- 70 à 80 km) des promenades en hautes Pyrénées et pour nos ados, peu de jeunes dans le village mais ils en ont quand même rencontrés 2. On en gardera un excellent souvenir!!
