Spacious holiday apartment with WiFi, Air Con, Sky TV and private use of the pool and garden

Lying a little more than a kilometre on the CV 871 is the small village of Benferri. It is ideally situated in the triangle between Orihuela, Murcia and Alicante. Benferri is a delightful village to visit.

The atmosphere in Benferri is extremely peaceful, and the residents are very friendly. It is a very clean village with some beautiful parks and perhaps it realises that it stands now on the crossroads between the old traditions and accepting some of the more modern ways. It is a lovely village to visit where everything is within easy walking distance.

The apartment is in a two-storey house on the ground floor - the upper floor is reserved for the owner who works in South East Asia. You will therefore have exclusive and private use of all the facilities.

This large private ground floor villa apartment sleeps up to 5 persons.

The executive apartment has UK Sky TV, DVD Player, Wi-Fi 10 Mb. Air conditioning hot and cold. Car Sat Nav. All free, fully inclusive, no extras for cleaning and laundry. Airport pickup is an optional extra.

The apartment consists of living room, kitchen, family bathroom, master bedroom with king-size double bed (extra single bed available) and second bedroom with one king-size double and one single bed.

Outside you have an 8 x 4 metre private swimming pool in secluded landscaped gardens complete with all garden furniture, BBQ, outside dinning, 6 Sun loungers.

All amenities within walking distance. 20 mins to Alicante airport. The local Spanish bars, restaurants, mini market, shops and banks are within easy walking distance. Main supermarket only 3 km and open 7 days a week.

There is little or no crime in Benferri. It has its own Police force that patrols 24 hours a day. There is a local doctors and medical centre.

In common with so many other villages, Benferri enjoys a good reputation for the quality and talent of its young musicians and music in general has an integral part in the culture of the village.

There is a wonderful park and barbecue area with many barbecues and plenty of seating where you can enjoy a more elaborate picnic. Throughout the village are many such parks some with play equipment for the children. The most fun however, is to try and find the shops. You know that they must be there but Benferri does not have a High Street as such and the tiny shops are tucked away. There are of course the usual range of bars and restaurants.

The village holds fiestas during the months of August, September and October to celebrate the Patron Saint, San JerÏŒnimo and the Virgen del Rosario with the usual processions and fireworks the major fiesta is dedicated to the Romerio del Dia de la Cruz. On the last day of October the festival concentrates on the Auroros of the Vega Baja, the very early morning singers. At one time these singers would parade through all the streets of the village but nowadays it is more likely that they will sing in the church.

Orihuela City is only 10 minutes drive from Benferri and here you will find a very vibrant city with all major shops, markets, restaurants and there is even a casino.
