Somewhat shabby<br/>The apartments in San Teodoro are managed by a local agent but it means that the location and images of the apartments are often different to the one which you researched and wanted to book. In our case we weren't very far from where we thought we had booked and the images were more or less similar in quality to the apartment which we were given. However the facilities and cleanliness of the villa were a little lacking. There was more dust and spiders in the property around the ceilings and light fittings and the furniture and fittings were of a poor standard. The shower cubicle was leaky as the doors were not hanging very well and required some manipulation to close. The boiler produced very hot water meaning the kitchen sink burnt us a number of times with scalding hot water bursting from the tap very suddenly even though the cold water was already running. The TV was advertised as a digital TV leading us to expect an LCD TV with an HDMI connection. It was actually an ancient and very small analogue TV with a Scart connection to a set top box so there was only italian TV for us to watch and no way for us to plug something in to watch a movie in the evening. The kitchen had a huge number of cooking pans but no wine glasses, only 3 knives of which all but one had broken handles and the fridge did not work well at all meaning that food and drinks were often not very cold. We had to use the freezer to chill drinks down and then remember to take them out before they froze. There were also some bulbs missing in the bedroom lamp and the kitchen area requiring us to use the cooker hood for light. Overall the apartment was bearable for our needs but if you were a family wanting to use it as a home and cook and eat meals there it wasn't a place that I would recommend.
